BRYAN EDWARDS

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mr. Edwards joined Utility Service Contractors in 1996. With a background in business operations management and accounting, he is responsible for all engineering and physical plant operations. Mr. Edwards has coordinated numerous system upgrades, HFC construction and Fiber-To-The-Home projects. He attended Montreat-Anderson College on an athletic scholarship and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a bachelor's degree in business management.

JEFF FARMER

VICE PRESIDENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES

Mr. Farmer joined Utility Service Contractors in August 2007, after completing 20 years of honorable service to our country. During his military career, he served as a drill instructor, recruiter, training instructor and an A-team detachment sergeant in the U.S. Army Special Forces. Mr. Farmer received an Associate of Arts degree from Troy State University and a Bachelor of Science in Russian Studies from Excelsior College. He is a veteran of two wars and was awarded the Bronze Star for his actions in combat while serving in Afghanistan.

DION KING

FLEET SERVICE & EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Mr. King joined Utility Service Contractors Inc. in 1995 as the lead mechanic. Mr. King manages vehicle and equipment maintenance and specializes in Ditch Witch and Vermeer Directional Drills and Plows. He has experience with Cat, John Deere and JCB heavy equipment. His vast knowledge in bucket trucks, diesel and gasoline motors is second to none.

SAM HOLTZCLAW

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER 

Mr. Holtzclaw was engaged by Utility Service Contractors Inc. as their certified public accountant in 2009. At this time, he was a partner with the CPA firm Ravan & Holtzclaw CPA PA. The CPA firm provided a broad range of accounting, tax and business advisory services. The firm’s client list included a substantial number of construction clients. Upon his retirement in 2018, he was engaged to provide CFO services through his firm, Samuel G Holtzclaw CPA LLC. This firm provides CFO services to a select group of clients. He graduated from Presbyterian College with a degree in accounting. Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an Army officer and spent two years as a platoon leader. Upon discharge from the Army, he obtained a Master of Accountancy degree from the University of South Carolina. He also spent 10 years as CFO of Tyger Construction Company Inc., a subsidiary of a publicly traded international construction company.

PAUL “SIL” PRYOR

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

Mr. Pryor joined Utility Service Contractors Inc. in 1997. With a background in Electrical Installation & Maintenance at Gaston College, Mr. Pryor has led projects in various regions at USC, including South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia and one of the abroad projects in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
